We have signed up as an Equality Chartered Club with KICK IT OUT to tackle racism and discrimination in football.
KICK IT OUT works with the football authorities, professional clubs, players, fans and communities to educate stakeholders at every level of football to take ownership and responsibility to challenge all forms of discriminatory, hateful and prejudiced behaviour.
As a club we have a responsibility to offer full inclusion to all youths who want to pursue the game. And we take this responsibility seriously.
We can play our part - but we need parents, players and supporters to play theirs too. If you ever experience or witness discrimination or racism of any kind, during any event linked to our club, we urge you to immediately report it to our chairman or welfare officer.
You can also report an incident directly to KICK IT OUT: https://www.kickitout.org/forms/online-reporting-form
Our chairman, Andrew Smith is delighted U14's coach Josh Mantock has signed the club up to such an initiative.
"Inclusion is a vital aspect of all sports and it starts with grass-roots clubs. We have a huge responsibility to educate young players about the real problem of discrimination in sport.
"We may only be a tiny pixel in the bigger picture - but we are proud to play our part in helping the next generation of players become the most inclusive yet!"
