In May 2002, three local ladies, Sarah Elliott, Sara Jeffcock and Hilary Short formed MOSYFC. Sarah, nearly twenty years later, is still involved with the club as club secretary.

 

Playing at  Barnes Lane recreation ground, the club has grown since then to have some 130 players signed on and is now considered to be a friendly, successful and well-run club.

 

All are welcomed by our experienced and fully-qualified coaches with teams from U7 to U16. Once they reach the U16 age group they have the opportunity to go further with our association with Bashley FC development programme. Creating a  girls' team is another part of our agenda in the near future.

I am extremely proud to be chairman of the football club. I am constantly amazed at the dedication and hard work of the committee and coaches.

We always welcome new players and every year we need new coaches to take charge of our youngest team.
